Introduction to Health and Medical Sciences Summer Assignment 2023

Community Service Hours -  you may begin earning community service hours for the 2023-2024 school year.   

Please use this sheet to fill out your hours.   In HPT you need 15 community service hours each year.   A least 80% (12 hours) have to be health related hours.   Health related hours can be anything in a healthcare facility,  helping with a organization that is health related,  food banks, etc.   Helping in a church nursery is not considered to be health related.  Should you have any questions please do not hesitate to email Mrs. Ecroyd - marcie_ecroyd@ccpsnet.net 

High School School supplies - 

     Typically high schools do not sent out a school supply list.  Students will receive a syllabus the first day of class which will have any specific supplies for that class.   Here are some supplies that most students will need:

Binders (some like an odd day binder and an even day binder)

Folders for each class to keep hw/cw separate

Markers, highlighters, colored pencils, glue sticks, rulers, index cards, construction paper, pens and pencils

Calculator -  Alg. 2 students can purchase a graphing calculator for their own personal use (check with math teacher before purchasing)
