We are currently working on our virtual tutoring sessions via zoom but anticipate having those up and ready to go by the end of the week. In the meantime, students may contact the Academic Learning Center at academiclearningcenter@abtech.edu
Library:
Individual instruction requests from students will be handled over the phone (828-398-7301), using an email stream or a zoom session between the Librarian and the student. The library research service Chatstaff will take over reference assistance at 5:00pm each day and be available on weekends to assist students with research.
Online Tutoring:
ThinkingStorm is A-B Tech’s online tutoring service for all subject areas. All enrolled students have access with their A-B Tech username and password. While students have previously been limited to 5 hours of online tutoring services, ThinkingStorm has extended that as needed. This may only be used for college level courses.
Writing Center: Students may call or email the Writing Center for assistance. Representatives will regularly check for voicemails and fresh messages and respond via email. The Writing Center's contact information is: (828) 398-7218 and writingcenter@abtech.edu.
