NHS Student Account Creation

NHS Student Account Creation

NHS members who are active, in good standing chapter members, are invited to create an NHS Student Account. The NHS Student Account provides access to member functions like:

* applying for the NHS Scholarship (national scholarship)

* receiving NHS Digital Badges (national chapter recognition)

* access to the student NHS store to purchase NHS gear

Steps to Create a NHS Student Account:

Click on the following link "Create an Account" to create a student account: Create an Account

You will be required to provide the following information:

1. Your name

2. Your SCHOOL email address

3. Your school’s name, state, and country (Avon High School, New York, United States of America)

TIP: If the school name does not appear in your first search attempt, consider alternate spellings, such as JFK for John F. Kennedy. When searching for your school, you can use your chapter’s affiliation number to confirm you have the correct school. Your adviser can give you this number - see Mrs. Ecklund for the Avon NY High School number.

4. You must select “SCHOOL” as the address type; do not select “Home”.

5. School role (select “NHS student”)

6. A phone number (recommended, the school’s number: 585-226-2455)

7. You must also accept the Terms and Conditions (read these before accepting!) and create a password (six or more characters).

Once you create an account, your adviser will need to log in and verify that you are an active student in your chapter.
