Printing - ChromeBooks prompt for a login when I send something to print.

Printing - What printers can I use?

Students

Students may print to the "Student Printer" that is available on ChromeBooks and District Windows computers. Students are allocated a set number of pages that resets every school year. When this balance reaches zero, printing is no longer available. Please have a staff member contact IT to resolve the issue. All student printing prints in black & white and on both sides of the paper. Students may collect their documents at the copy machines at the TBS Library, AMS Library, and AHS Library. Students enter their APS Student ID number on the copier to access their stored documents. Documents that are not collected will be deleted after 5 days.

Staff

Staff may print to the "Staff Printer" that is available on ChromeBooks and District Windows computers. All staff printing prints in black & white. The user may select double-sided or single-sided using the options available in your software. Currently color printing is restricted to administrative staff. Staff may access the copier by entering their Windows username or presenting their key fob to the reader on the copier. Documents that are not collected will be deleted after 5 days.

Software - How do I use... Classroom, Meets, Screencastify, etc.

WiFi - Guest Access, Personal Devices

The APS Community wireless is a basic Internet connection that is available for the general public after school hours. There is no access to APS services or printers.

Staff and Students may connect a personal device to the APS Public WiFi network. Please ask a staff member or your teacher for the password.

Chrome closes/crashes at the same time every day

This is caused by our anti-malware software, MalwareBytes, cleaning out an unwanted extension or search bar function when it scans your computer. Then, Google Chrome Sync, the service that allows your Chrome experience to be consistent across different devices, put the recently removed malware back. MalwareBytes then finds it again and removes it, repeating the cycle. Here's how to correct it: MalwareBytes Support - Chrome
