World Book Day: March 2023

Our World Book Day celebrations this year were a massive success. So many children and staff came to school dressed as their favourite book character. There were some incredible homemade costumes and it was challenging to choose the competition winners in each class! Throughout the day pupils enjoyed workshops linked to poetry and fiction books.

Sports Day: June 2023

At Feversham, we believe in the importance of physical activity and teamwork. Our Sports Day is a highlight of the school year, where students, teachers, and families come together to celebrate sportsmanship, determination, and fun!

Here's what our Sports Day has to offer:

We offer a diverse range of sporting events suited for all ages and abilities. From traditional races like sprinting and relay races to sack races and three-legged races, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Our Sports Day is inclusive, ensuring that every child can participate and feel a sense of achievement. We organise activities that cater to different interests and abilities, fostering a supportive and encouraging environment for all students.

Sports Day is an excellent opportunity for students to develop teamwork and resilience. Through relay races and team challenges, students learn the value of collaboration, communication, and supporting one another towards a common goal.  While we emphasise participation and sportsmanship, Sports Day also encourages healthy competition. Students learn to challenge themselves, set personal goals, and strive for excellence while respecting their peers and celebrating each other's achievements.

We welcome parents, guardians, and members of the community to join us in cheering on our students. Sports Day is a fantastic opportunity for families to come together, bond, and support their children in a positive and uplifting atmosphere. The second half of the Day is where the adults who attend get to show off their sporting skills and inspire the watching children. Watching your favourite teacher trying to balance while having one leg attached to a family member is always the highlight of the afternoon.

At the end of Sports Day, we recognise and celebrate the efforts and accomplishments of our students. Whether it's receiving a medal for first place or a certificate for participation, every student is acknowledged for their hard work and dedication. Sports Day also provides a platform for promoting the importance of physical fitness and healthy living. Through engaging activities and discussions, we aim to instill lifelong habits of staying active and making healthy choices.

Join us for a day filled with excitement, laughter, and unforgettable memories at Feversham’s Sports Day!

Christmas Shows: December 2023

Our Christmas shows have been very well attended this year, with the hall packed out for all showings. The Early Years show began with the classic Nativity play and the nursery children gave us a beautiful and heart-warming singing performance of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.

The Staff at Feversham Primary Academy performed the yearly Pantomime as a special treat for the whole school.  This year's performance was Beauty and the Beast.

Winter Fair: Wednesday 6th December 2023

The PTA and Mrs Razzaq kicked off the festivities in style with a fantastic Winter Fair. The SEND room was transformed into Santa’s grotto.  Santa even made an appearance with his sack of goodies, with life-size elves helping to hand out presents to pupils and their families. They organised a range of stalls and activities from Pakistani street food, henna tattoos to face-painting.

World Book Day: March 2024

Feversham Primary Academy put a fun twist on the popular TV show with "The Masked Reader." Imaginations ran wild as students and staff recreated the beloved characters from their favourite books, adding a playful spin to the day's activities. With costumes and creativity, the school became a stage where our most loved literary characters came to life.

Throughout the week, Feversham students also designed author themed classroom doors and decorated them!
