Ms. Ashley Breaux

She attended St. Rosalie School from Kindergarten through 8th grade, St. Mary’s Dominican High School from 2006-2010, and then graduated from University of New Orleans in 2014 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and a major in Business Management.  Ms. Ashley was a teacher at Brighter Horizons Child Care Center from May 2010 - August 2019.  When her son, Jaxson, began Kindergarten at VOL in 2019,  Ms. Ashley changed careers from childcare and began working in HR and Bookkeeping.  After a short period, by March 2020, she realized the "business world" was not for her.  Ms. Ashley had realized that her true passion was in a classroom teaching the little ones!  She returned to Brighter Horizons from March through July 2020.  In August 2020, Ms. Ashley began her first year teaching at Visitation of Our Lady.  Ms. Ashley loves teaching early childhood because the excitement in the students eyes when they discover something new and she loves watching them grow throughout the year.  This will be her fourth year teaching at VOL.  In Ms. Ashley's spare time, she enjoys going to different places and having "adventures of the day" with her son.  She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, shopping, and going to the beach.


Mrs. Jessica Breaux

Mrs. Jessica has been an assistant with the Pre K-2 program since it began in 2017.  As an enthusiastic and professional educator with diverse experience, Mrs. Jessica enjoys working with the two-year olds because they always keep her laughing.  Mrs. Jessica is committed to creating a classroom atmosphere that is stimulating and encouraging to students.  Mrs. Jessica's son, Cameron, graduated from VOL in 2019 and is currently attending NOMMA.  When not working, Mrs. Jessica enjoys helping her son with his hobbies and playing with her fur baby, Rosco.  


Mrs. Karen Estep

Mrs. Karen has been a member of the Visitation of Our Lady parish family for over 25 years.  She began substitute teaching in 2006 and has been substituting for over 15 years at VOL until 2020 when she joined the Pre K-2 program as a full-time assistant.  Mrs. Karen thoroughly enjoys working with children and wants everyone to be successful learners.  Mrs. Karen likes working with the two-year olds because they are always surprising you with new things.  Outside of the classroom, she enjoys attending Broadway shows at the Saenger Theatre, trying new recipes with her family, watching movies and musicals, and playing with her fur babies, Ciroc and Samantha.
