MOST - Centro Nazionale per la mobilità sostenibile was born with the ambition and objective of contributing to the creation of a demand and supply of sustainable mobility.

The areas and technological fields of greatest interest in the project are: air mobility, sustainable road vehicles, water transport, rail transport, light vehicles and active mobility. The National Center will take care of making the mobility system more "green" as a whole and more "digital" in its management. It will do so through lightweight solutions and electric and hydrogen propulsion systems; digital systems for the reduction of accidents; more effective solutions for public transport and logistics; a new model of mobility, as a service, accessible and inclusive.

MOST follws a  "Hub&Spoke" model. This is a dynamic system, with the MOST Hub at the center and around the 14 Spoke Leaders who, in their interaction, foster cooperation with the national and local ecosystem. 

The Hub performs coordination functions, defines strategic lines, promotes transversal initiatives, collects market inputs, directs projects and promotes startup intelligence initiatives. 

The Spokes develop research programs at a high TRL (Technology Readiness Level) with solutions close to market needs, strategic technologies of the sector in the medium and long term, operate thanks to cutting-edge infrastructures and laboratories.
