Orchestra Boosters

Pleasant Valley Orchestra Boosters is an organization dedicated to supporting the PV School District’s Orchestral Strings programs at the elementary, junior high, and high school levels. All contributions to the Booster Club are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Members from the PVO Boosters are made up of any parent or supporter of the PVO program. PVO Boosters holds monthly meetings with all members to address the many needs of the orchestral strings program (See the Calendar of Events tab for the schedule of meetings). Parents of students participating in the Orchestral Strings Program are voting members of Orchestra Boosters. Committees are formed as needed.

Proceeds from concerts ticket sales will be put into the Pleasant Valley High School Orchestra Activity Account. These funds will be considered the treasury of the Orchestra Boosters until a separate checking account can be established.

Some of the ways we can support the orchestral strings program include:

• Chaperoning trips

• Organizing special events

• Scholarships

• Fundraising

• Patron programs

• Recognition for students

• Refreshments at concerts
