Hello and welcome to 5th grade orchestra!

5th Grade Orchestra  has morning rehearsals on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 7:30-8:20am at Pleasant Valley Junior High in the Band and Orchestra rooms. The students will be bussed to their elementary school at the conclusion of rehearsal. Please feel free to contact us with any questions!

The 5th grade students will need to purchase an Essential Elements for Strings Book 2 (purple), but it will not be needed until after Winter Break. Please feel free to wait for your orchestra teacher to send more information home about the book before purchasing. Please bring your Essential Elements Book 1 (orange) to class on the first day along with your music, instrument, and a pencil. Students will continue to use their present Suzuki book in lessons. Students may need to move up to the next size of instrument. You can visit the local music stores and they will size your student to the proper instrument size, or your orchestra teacher can size your student at their next lesson.
