Introduction to Assistive Technology
This training is used to teach Pendergast Staff about the Assistive Technology (AT) devices and services resources available to our students and staff.
Reading Supports
Snap and Read - A software available to all Pendergast students. It can read almost any electronic content on the computer screen to a student.
Intellitools Classroom Suite - A software available to all Pendergast students that can be used as an intervention tool for learning Reading (K-2) and Math (K-4).
Boardmaker Studio - A software available to specific special education staff. It is used to create interactive visual content with picture supports. It is also used to create Folder Games.
Boardmaker Tutorials for Print
Bookshare - A program available to select Pendergast Students. This program allows students with visual, physical, or learning impairments related to reading(decoding) to access digital versions of text resources.
Read OutLoud: Bookshare Edition - A program available to Bookshare eligible students. This program opens and reads the digital text resources.
