Eligibility:
Grants for non-Hotchkiss travel opportunities are only available to students who will be on campus the following year, so that the learning can be brought back into the community.
Priority is given to funding Hotchkiss travel programs over travel through outside organizations
For Hotchkiss programs, note that priority is given to first time applicants, younger students, and the most compelling applications.
Follow the steps below to apply for support for a program run by an organization other than Hotchkiss,.
Before starting the grant proposal, you should have the following materials ready to be entered:
An essay that describes the program and an explanation of how it qualifies for a grant.
Please write about what you wish to gain from and contribute to the program.
Programs that focus on community-based service work are given priority, though some
grants are available for culture and language immersion.A budget, including sources of income. Include anticipated financial aid from the program, if any, or other sources of funding (from foundations or personal fundraising).
