Tips for Parents

These tips will help your child have a successful year in 4K!

Please check your child's bookbag each day to see what we did at school. This shows your child that you value his work.

Read to your child everyday and sign the reading log in your child's notebook.

Be sure that your child gets plenty of sleep each night.

Talk about the importance of listening in school, obeying adults, and being nice to friends.

Spend some time talking to your child each day.  Children's language development during the preschool years is crucial.

Recite a nursery rhyme with your child.

Read our newsletter each month and complete any activity sent home.  

Volunteer in our classroom.  We would love to have your help.
