About the Teachers

My name is Elizabeth Angone, and I am very excited to be working with you and your child in 4K.  This is my 14th year as a classroom teacher, but prior to working in Greenville County CDC’s, I worked as an assistant with children with Autism for 5 years.  I bounced around during my college years from Johnson City, TN to San Jose, Costa Rica, but I finally graduated from North Greenville University in 2003 with a BA in English and a minor in Spanish.  In 2005, I went to Anderson University where I received Teacher Certification in Early Childhood and Elementary Education.  I worked in Greenville County Schools for 5 years as an Applied Behavior Therapist with Autism Services and as a Substitute Teacher before becoming a classroom teacher.

My family moved to Greenville, SC when I was about 2 years old, and I have lived in Greenville County for the past 41 years (with the exception of various traveling experiences).  I now live in a small house in the Taylors area.  I have been married to my wonderful husband, TJ, for almost 18 years.  We have two boys, Anthony (11) and Wesley (9).  Some of my favorite things to do are play soccer, run, cook and eat, read, watch Clemson football games, work on puzzles, listen to music, and spend time with my family.

In the classroom, I work side by side with a wonderful assistant, Denise Ruby.

From Denise Ruby:

I was born and raised in Greenville. I received my Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education from Greenville Tech.

This is my 2nd year at Northwest Crescent CDC, but I previously worked at Greenview CDC for 9 years.  I am married to my best friend Eric.  We have 4 grown sons, 1 daughter in-Law, and 4 of the most awesome grandsons.   I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, watching Clemson AND Carolina football ( yes, I am that person), going on vacations, and reading.

I am excited and looking forward to work with Mrs. Angone.

We are looking forward to a new school year and working with you and your child!
