Alumni Show Entry Form

Hillcrest Lutheran Academy–“Alumni Art Show-2010”

Exhibition open to the public during H.I.T.’s weekend–Thursday April 16th to Sunday the 18th, 2010.

ELIGIBILITY

Must be original works from artists who have graduated from Hillcrest or attended the program for at least one year (ie. Danielsen students from Norway).

Valid entries will consist of ONE or TWO of your latest works of:

•Fine Art (painting, sculpture, printmaking, etc.)

•Graphic Design

•Fine Craft (pottery, textiles, glass blowing, etc.)

•Applied Art (Architectural, Interior, & related Design work)

Works must be complete and ready to hang OR display and may include matted or framed work, mock-ups of large scale pieces or photo essays of projects that are impossible to move or install in the open space of the Hillcrest Chapel.

There are plans for a formal reception on Sunday afternoon, from 2-5pm. Artwork may be picked up following the reception.

SALES & COPY RIGHTS

Hillcrest Lutheran Academy will receive no commission or fee from any sale. Any sales &/or tax reposting is solely the responsibility of the exhibitor. Artwork offered for sale or purchased must remain on display for the duration of the exhibit.

Your entry grants permission to photograph your work and use reproductions solely for the purpose of recording and publicizing the event.

ENTRY DETAILS

Entries will be reviewed through .jpg images that may be e-mailed to gpeterson@ffhillcrest.org. Hillcrest Art Alumni are also invited to join a FaceBook group created for the expressed purpose of organizing this event. Images can be share amongst Alumni Artists there.

Work must be delivered to Hillcrest Lutheran Academy between Friday, April 9th- Monday, the 12th. Please label all images/Artwork clearly with artist’s name, title and date(s) created, dimensions and medium.

All Art Work and physical samples may be picked up on Sunday Night at the closing of the show. Work, that has been delivered (by mail/courier), will be returned to the artist the week following the show, as long as self-addressed and postage provided packaging is included.
