How To Enroll

Students must be five years old on or before August 31 of the current school year to enter kindergarten.

Register your child for kindergarten by clicking the link below.

Complete all sections of the pre-registration form and finalize the process by clicking SUBMIT at the bottom of the form.  Once pre-registration is complete, your child's school will contact you for enrollment and screening.  Please see the designated dates for your school in the "Enrollment Dates & Times" tab. 

The following items are needed for enrollment:

• a certified copy of your child's birth certificate

• proof of your Catawba County address by providing two of the following:

  • current water, gas, or electric bill in parent's name that is no more than 60 days old, new signed lease, or offer to purchase agreement

• a photo ID of the parent or guardian

• your child's immunization records

• any custody documents
