Freshwater Partners Renfrew County is a partnership of organizations interested in freshwater and watersheds in Renfrew County, supported by funding from the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
This new partnership is bringing multiple organizations, stakeholders and community members together to achieve greater collective impact on freshwater issues, stewardship and watershed planning in the County of Renfrew.

Freshwater Partners Renfrew County Collaborative Initiative Officially Launched

On Oct. 5, 2018 the Bonnechere River Watershed Project officially launched a collaborative initiative, Freshwater Partners Renfrew County, at the Pembroke Waterfront Campus of Algonquin College.
Local MPP John Yakabuski and Ontario Trillium Foundation volunteer Ray Westgarth were on hand to congratulate the nine partnering organizations involved and heard more about how a $30,000 Collective Impact Grant awarded some months ago is helping facilitate actions to understand and address issues for fresh water and watersheds in Renfrew County.
