When The Rosicrucian Order first emerged in America as an institution, members did not receive monographs at home, as we do now. Rosicrucians gathered in small groups to discuss the esoteric principles passed down through time as the various manifestations of the Western Esoteric Tradition. We continue this oral Tradition in our Affiliated Bodies.

There are two Affiliated Bodies in Colorado: in the Denver area Mountain Rose Pronaos (MRP); and in the Colorado Springs area Pike's Peak Atrium (PPA). There is also an Affiliated Body of the Traditional Martinist Order (TMO) that meets in the Denver area, Rocky Mountain Atelier.

Rosicrucian Order, AMORC—Mission Statement

The Rosicrucian teachings enable students to find themselves, improve their lives, and influence the Universe. We are educators, students, and seekers, dedicated to exploring the inner wisdom and the meaning of life. We offer an ancient, time-tested system of study and experimentation, which reveals the underlying principles of the Universe. Our method offers practical tools applicable to all aspects of life. The Rosicrucian teachings allow individuals to direct their own lives, experience inner peace, and leave their mark on Humanity.

Mountain Rose Pronaos (in Denver) and Pikes Peak Atrium Group (in Colorado Springs) each serve as a living expression of the Rosicrucian Order’s Mission at the local level, and each represents Rosicrucian ideals in the community. We perpetuate the ancient ritualistic and initiatic traditions of the Order. In all circumstances, we promote principles rather than personalities. We provide a safe, harmonious environment in which a deeper understanding of these ideals and principles can be explored through fraternal discussion, ritual, and initiation. In the spirit of harmony and service, we facilitate communication and connection from member to member and with the staff at AMORC's Grand Lodge (our headquarters), for the good of the Order, and for service to Humanity and the planet. Through this connection with their greater spiritual family, we empower the individual to “Know thyself.”
