Turn-taking

If you roll doubles, you will be required to roll again. You are caught speeding if you roll three sets of doubles in a row. As a result, you do not move the corresponding amount shown in the dice but you are sent to jail. You are awarded $200 if you land on or phase the Go space. However, if by bad luck you land on the income tax or the luxury tax, you must pay the indicated amount of money to the bank.

You are only able to build properties if you have accumulated all the available properties in the color group. This, however, must be done equally. You are needed to build a house in every color group before you can build a second one in a certain color.

Chance and Community Chest

During the game, you might land on one of these spaces. If that happens you are needed to draw a single card and follow whatever is written on it. The instructions might be to continue playing, to collect money from the bank or to occupy a different space on the board. If you draw the go to jail card from the deck, you go to jail.

Buying Properties

If during the game you land on a property with no owner, you have the choice to purchase it at the going price. If you decline the offer, the property is auctioned by the bank. The highest bidder then claims it. However, if you roll the dice and you land in an owned property, the monopoly online rules state that you have to pay rent for it. When playing monopoly online you only have one objective; to disadvantage your opponent and possibly make them bankrupt. You have to try as much as possible not to fall victim in this game because if you do, you lose.
