We dedicate ourselves to creating tomorrow's leaders and to building a legacy of innovative thinkers, effective problem solvers, and a community of STEM enthusiasts. Our legacy is being built on the brains of the past to prepare the minds of the present for the challenges and dreams of the future.

We work tirelessly as a team to model the ideals of FIRST. We pride ourselves on being a student-led team with a fully student-designed and programmed robot. We strive to exhibit gracious professionalism, teamwork and excellence as we engage with our community, school, and fellow teams. 

Our team began in 1996 with just five students. 29 years later we have grown exponentially,  attracting a diverse group of talented and passionate individuals. Over the years, Team 85 has earned an exemplary reputation not only within FIRST but also within our school district and community.
