Warm-ups

Warming up is an essential part of any professional musician's daily routine. We utilize warm-ups in marching not only for personal tonal development, but also to enforce strict time and proper breathing habits. The following warm-ups are divided by Brass and Woodwind. Clarinets and Tenor Saxophones should read their assigned Bb Trumpet lines in the Brass Warm-up Book. All other Woodwinds will read from the Woodwind Warm-up Book. When starting to work on the Book, please maintain slow and consistent practice. Do not be worried about difficult passages as this type of practice will ensure your success in the future.

You will need to MEMORIZE the following warm-ups:

Exercise #2

Exercise #3
