How much does a virtual agent cost?
Our agents are paid hourly. The rate varies depending on the type of service being provided. Typically, hourly wages range from $7-$15.
What about taxes?
Since our agents are not generally citizens of the United States, nor are they working in the United States, the U.S. does not deduct any income tax. The agents have all filled out the forms required to be employed remotely by a company based in the U.S. The agents are responsible for paying any taxes as required by their country of residence.
*Freelancers who are citizens of, or based in the United States will be required to fill out a 1099 form every year
*Freelancers who are not citizens of, nor based in the United States will be required to complete a W-8BEN Form before beginning employment
How do we keep costs so low?
Agents are sourced globally, therefore we are able to pay them livable wages while still being below the United States' minimum wage. It is mutually beneficial to all parties.
