Begin your practice. Strengthen your practice.

We are Pittsburgh's only meditation group practicing within the Korean Son Buddhist Tradition. We encourage everyone to find their inner peace and compassion through the practice of the Dharma.

Our Mission

To provide a welcoming and inclusive spiritual experience in line with the Buddhadharma and teachings of Zen Master Seung Sahn as taught through the Kwan Um School of Zen. To provide a space for people to explore meditation through various traditional techniques.

Our Vision

To be a Buddhist spiritual community in line with the first five precepts that is open to the larger Pittsburgh community as a space for interior examination, the fostering of compassion and wisdom, and act as a responsible and open sangha in the midst of Pittsburgh's urban and collegiate environment in the Shadyside neighborhood of the city.Â
