Server Rules
As we all know, every discord server has its standard rules set and that also applies to the Leviathan server! Here's a brief list of server rules we have that all members must follow:
Do NOT disrespect other members and their preferences. Banter is fine, but keep it between yourselves.
No stream-sniping. If someone in the discord is using one of the streaming rooms, do not join unless they invite you.
No racism, bullying, sexism, etc
Religion and politics are officially banned on the server.
No spamming.
No NSFW stuff outside of the NSFW marked channels.
This is an international server so please stick to speaking English. We will make exceptions to this rule as we see fit.
Don't post gifs or videos that may trigger epilepsy
No waifu bashing or kink shaming
No posting lewd Loli/Shota content (No underage pornography)
When it comes to inviting others to the server, be sure to ask those in charge before just doing so
No posting private DMs in the public chat unless having consent from the other individual to do so.
The admins reserve the right to kick/ban anyone who is significantly (or repeatedly) disrupting the peace of the server or causing grievance to other users, omitting the three-strike rule. In other words, if you are causing enough of a problem, you will be kicked/banned, even if you have zero strikes to your name.
No posting art pic until after 10 minutes from the original pic and unless there are no current discussions are going on of the said pic. This heavily goes to #own-art and #own-nsfw-arts channels.

Roleplay Rules
To go with the server rules, we have an official roleplay rule set to keep things fair between all participants. Please read all that is listed below!
Do not take control of your roleplay partner's character
Do not leave lasting injuries on your roleplay partner's character or involve them in NSFW acts without consent
Clearly separate speech from character actions
Use ( ) when talking out of character
You cannot declare your character to know someone without permission from the other person
Don't dodge/block every single attack that is thrown at you
You can not declare your attack to have hit the opponent before the said opponent has had their turn unless they do not have an issue with it beforehand
Don't jump into active roleplays without permission
Mark your roleplay with -----DONE----- when you finished a scene so the next person can use the channel
If it gets particularly brutal... keep it to the NSFW marked channels
If marked with a -----TBC----- that means the previous roleplay isn't finished just yet and will be finished down the line
If a TBC roleplay is vacant for more than 1-2 months on end then the room will be opened up for other users and be marked with a -----Available-----
Do not force another user into a roleplay without their consent or desire to do so.

Rounding off with one of the more crucial rules out of three is the original character rules we have installed in Leviathan. In order for a member to have their character be accepted, they must follow these general rules. Further on in the Brochure, you will see more specifications that Leviathan members require to be certified by the league. Until then, please go through these rules down below.

All Leviathan OCs must be **Human** (100%). This means no super powers, no half-human, half-non-human, no omnipotence, etc.
No ridiculously overpowered characters. Your character must be beatable, and will eventually have to lose.
No mary-sues. Having a flawless character is, ironically enough, once of the biggest flaws a character can have. Still banned though.
No face-claims. No stealing established characters from media sources and only making minor changes.
No using real people as characters. No friends, family members, or celebrities! Not even strangers.
No copying OCs (or Gear) that belong to other people. This includes, but is not limited to: characters in this server, characters in other servers, characters from art websites (like DeviantArt and Pixiv), or characters from anywhere else that were not created by you. The design cannot be a one-to-one copy of their design. If there's a debate on the similarities, the admins will compare them and will cast a judgment based on the comparison.
No blatantly offensive or controversial characters. Just don’t. It never ends well, for anyone. If you have to think about it, then don’t create it. (Areas to avoid: Politics, world events, social issues)
No characters on the roster may be under the age of 18. Period.
No bribing people to let you use their character.
No loopholes. Don’t even try to use one.
AI-generated characters for use in roleplaying and collaborating within Leviathan are strictly prohibited. Those seeking to use any character generated by AI must commission an artist and add bits of originality to the creation for the final product to be allowed to be used within the server.
