ZAAC Mission Statement

The Zeeland Area Action Committee (ZAAC) is a non-partisan group of local residents initially formed to oppose the actions and policies of Ottawa Impact and its supporters.  Our primary purposes are to safeguard democratic processes, communicate unbiased, factual information on issues relevant to Ottawa County and the Zeeland area, promote responsible voting and recommend local officials that match our community values of responsible governance, ethical conduct, fiscal responsibility and transparency.  We are committed to building a welcoming organization for the common good. 

ZAAC Goals

ZAAC will work to continually increase the number of its members.

ZAAC will raise enough money through donations and/or other events and activities to support its goals and  activities.

 ZAAC will regularly and frequently communicate with its members and the community at large through a variety of means and platforms. 

ZAAC will educate and inform its members and the general public about ZAAC and its activities and about candidates, positions and issues.

ZAAC will work to identify and support candidates for Zeeland area offices who align with its Mission Statement.

ZAAC will create and maintain a welcoming community and motivate its members with activities to bolster morale and spirit and to develop trust and foster relationships.
