WHAT IS TECH CAMPUS?
Lake County Tech Campus is an extension of many area high schools for students to attend classes in a specific career training program. Tech Campus is regarded as one of the best career and technical education facilities in the Midwest with a highly qualified staff dedicated to excellence in career and technical education. With over twenty member high schools, Lake County Tech Campus has the largest career technical secondary educational system in the state of Illinois.
ACCEPTED STUDENTS for 2026-2027 School Year
Accepted Students were notified by email on 10/30. All other applicants will be notified by email on status by 11/5.
Accepted Student Information Packet
Read through the Accepted Student Information for all information regarding the 2026-2027 school year.
Students may change courses using the following link: Tech Campus Change / Drop Form 26-27
The first 5 days of Tech Campus, students will be able to change courses. Courses may be changed if there is space available.
The final step to complete the student's application is the Tech Campus Contract / SPANISH Tech Campus Contract
Make sure to turn in a paper copy signed by student and parent/guardian.
The Tech Campus application for the 2026-2027 school year will stay open.
All students who apply will be put on the waitlist for 2026-2027.
Interested sophomores and juniors must fill out the Tech Campus application AND complete the Session Survey.

Tech Campus Application Process and Information SY 2026-2027
Students who do not meet the minimum requirements wil be automatically waitlisted.
Visit the TECH CAMPUS site for an in-depth description of courses.
Students do not pay tuition to attend the Tech Campus. Tuition is paid by District 126. Students are responsible for lab fees, course supplies, and materials. Costs vary by program. See the student handbook for program fee listings.
All ZB students are required to take the bus transportation provided by District 126.
Tech Campus Accepted Student Information
For an in-depth overview of the policies and procedures for Zion-Benton Tech Campus students.
Acceptance to Tech Campus will be communicated by email from Ms. Peterson. At that time, she will ask the student for preference of which session they would like to attend. (AM or PM). If there is no reply, the session will be assigned based on student schedule.
Students will be required to attend an "Accepted Students Meeting" with the Tech Campus Liaison
Students will be require to return a signed copy of the "Tech Campus Contract 2026-2027"
Students will be required to attend a Tech Campus Orientation session in August 2026
