First Mass as Deacon

"Whatever you do, do from the heart, as for the Lord and not for others." Colossians 3:23

Deacon Wally assisted at his first Mass on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the Vigil Mass of the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bellwood, Pennsylvania. Assisting Father Michael Pleva, Pastor, Deacon Wally served at the altar, proclaimed the reading from the holy Gospel, preached the homily, prepared the altar, invited the faithful to exchange the Sign of Peace, and dismissed the people at the conclusion of Mass.
