In Unit 4’s Connecting the World, during RC lessons, we are going to focus on sequencing. In grammar lessons, we are learning how to use adjectives, comparative adjectives, and superlative adjectives. In writing lessons, we are going to learn how to write a recount as our 2nd term project.
In Unit 4, students are going to learn about:
24-hour time
Telling time using 24-hour time system
Mixed operation of addition, subtraction and brackets
Mixed operation of addition, subtraction and multiplication
The mixed operation problems
In unit 4, students will learn about travelling, both globally and locally. Students will build on their knowledge of diverse cultures by considering what experiences they may have when travelling, from the food they eat to the landmarks of natural and historical importance they visit. This aims to cultivate respect both for their own traditions as well as for other cultures.
