At the Young Women’s Outreach Project, young women are central to our monitoring, evaluations, and impact reporting. While we conduct robust evaluations for funders and commissioners, we prioritise feedback from the young women themselves. Their informal evaluations help us quickly adapt sessions to ensure they are engaging and meet their needs.
We also use formal evaluations like WEBWMS for wellbeing data and an annual ACEs survey. Questionnaires are sent to parents, referral agencies, and schools to provide additional perspectives. This comprehensive data, along with KPIs such as attendance and referral rates, allows us to measure our impact effectively.
We know our work is making a difference to young women when their attendance is steady, they are fully engaged in activities, with smiling, happy faces during group sessions, heads held high with confidence. Young women will be forming healthy relationships and applying learned strategies to their daily lives, covering barriers and seeking help when needed. They will have set goals, and will be confidently working towards achieving them.
The best people to talk about the Young Women's Project are those who have been part of it.
