Shooting Stars Foundation and Netscout are teaming up for a FREE 10-day virtual business & entrepreneurship camp for 10th-12th grade NSBE Jr. students! Students will create a business, be mentored by corporate professionals, and present in front of industry leaders! Learn everything from product design and marketing to finance and pitching. The camp will run Monday-Friday from October 11th-22nd, 8-10pm EST. Participants must commit to attending all sessions and completing assignments. Only 20 spots are available, so sign up quickly!

2022 See You Soar: Space Camp® Scholarship

@SeeSydSoar, If/Then, and Dramatic Results® are offering a full scholarship to attend Space Camp®, run by the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama. In addition to admission to space camp, the recipient will also receive $300 toward airfare.

Requirements:

• Applicants must currently live in the United States

• Applicants must be ages 12-14 during the week of Space Camp® (June 19 - 24, 2022)

• Applicants must be female-identifying

HBCU Virtual Fair & Tour

The Psi Epsilon Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc in partnership with The Pearl Elegance Foundation will host a virtual HBCU Fair and Tour. During this event, students and parents will hear from 10 HBCUs representatives on what their respective schools offer, along with a financial aid + financial advisor panel and hear from current college students about their experiences pre and during COVID-19. Other activities include an HBCU student panel, interactive games, and prizes.

ULEAD Institute

September 25th, 11:30am - 3:30pm

ULEAD Institute welcomes all high school students to participate in various interactive workshops on team building, communication, and civic engagement. This year’s Summit is a hybrid event. Students can register to participate virtually, while students in the Washington, DC area can attend in-person. Students participating in-person are required to wear a mask. Students will have an hour lunch break to go to one of the eateries in the area; ULEAD will provide each in-person participant with a lunch stipend.
