What do you do other than Cake & Calculus?
If we aren't in Cake & Calc then you can probably find the mathematics society on a bar crawl or in an academic talk! We're looking to expand the things we do by 2024 including trips outside of the university!
Can I join MathSoc even though I don't study maths?
Absolutely. MathSoc as a society welcomes anyone and everyone from UoY!
Do I have to be good at maths to join the society?
Not at all. Though we are a mathematics society, we are more of a social society. We are here to provide more opportunities for students to socialise with one another on one of our bar crawls, karaoke night and any of our events.
