ORIGIN OF DEMAND FOR SERVICE
Changes, for instance new applications of technology such as AI, regulations, competition and the transition to sustainable energy, require organisational responses and sometimes even reinvention. If we don't anticipate and respond to changes (or attempt to actively shape the future) our organisations will become irrelevant/stagnant and not be able to fulfil their intended role. Failing to engage with lessons from the past leaves us at a further disadvantage.
Multiple stakeholder/partner initiatives need an integrator and an independent trusted driver that may help align efforts and channel collective energy towards joint goals and objectives. When we want to develop a town or a region, or undertake a major organisational transformation we need all aboard. Working apart is counterproductive, drains energy and regression sets in. The sum total of what we can achieve, working together, is much more than working apart.
Let me assist you engage the past, analyse trends and variables (external as well as transactional and internal organisational environments) that may impact your organisation, town, city, or region, make plans, and set them in motion to ensure you remain relevant and up to the task at hand.
Let's learn from the past and plan for the future so we may live in the moment.

I spent a significant part of my career at the Parliament of South Africa Strategic Project Management Office and the Development Bank of Southern Africa. Since becoming independent consultant I facilitated shared visioning and strategic foresight/strategic planning retreats for clients such as the United Nations and the Peace Parks Foundation in southern Africa.
