Mentors must have a professional degree in the same field of study as the student's interest (MA, MD, PhD).

The time and commitment provided by each mentor can vary greatly depending on the circumstances, but we strongly encourage mentors to be in some sort of correspondence with their students at least twice a month, assist with experimental design and data analysis, and review any final research presentations and papers.
