Our council involves a lot different entities including, but limited to: youth & young adults (a diverse collective of individuals with varying cultural backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences), Youth Era staff (Youth Advisory Council Coordinator + supporting staff), LBL System of Care staff, and other supportive system & community partners.

We exist as a way of meeting a systemic need that has been present and chronic in the LBL region for years, which is an efficient, youth-led feedback loop for young people who utilize youth-serving systems to channel their feedback, on the receiving end of services, to assist in the identification of barriers as well as the development of services, programs, etc. in order to meet the needs of the various youth populations present in the region

Regionally, we are located in and support Linn, Benton, and Lincoln counties in Oregon. We do not have a central office location, but we do have the ability to meet with young people in any part of the tri-county region.

All of our monthly council meetings are virtual meetings (to start), meaning you have the option to join virtually via Zoom
