Here is a simple idea to reset your mind
Self compassion break
Step #1: Think of a situation in your life that is difficult and causing you stress. Step #2: See if you can feel the emotional discomfort in your body. Step #3: Say to yourself, “this is a moment of suffering”, “this hurts”, “this sucks”, what is important is a nonjudgmental naming of it. Step #4: Say to yourself, “Suffering is a part of life”. This is a recognition of common humanity with others. You could also say: “other people feel this way”, “I’m not alone”, or “other people feel this way in their lives”. Step #5: Put your hands over your heart, feel the gentle hands on your chest and say, “I am going to be kind to myself, may I give myself the compassion I need, may I forgive myself, may I be patient, may I learn to accept myself as I am”.A big part of emotional wellness involves physical wellness. Even when you are social distancing here is a way to stay in shape!
