The first thing we do is decide on a domain name. We'll then have to check to see if that domain name is taken or not. Domain names are important and I'll have some input for you from a strategic marketing and search engine optimization stand-point on how to choose one. Next we agree on a platform. My platform of choice is Squarespace. Most traditional website designers use Wordpress because it offers a lot more freedom and flexibility. However, the price point when going this route can be an obstacle. Traditional website designers charge between $5,000 to$10,000. I recommend Squarespace because it offers a more simplified approach to website building that can be managed by anyone. We'll then go over what needs to be communicated on your website and what your business goals are. We'll discuss how you want your website to flow and what you'd like it to accomplish for you. Then, I'll create a website draft for you to review.

I offer two options for ongoing website maintenance. I can do it, or I can turn it over to you to maintain. If you'd like me to maintain your website you can choose to have me on retainer and pay a monthly fee for website maintenance or you can opt to hire me on an as-needed basis and pay an hourly fee.

Yes! There are many free options to choose from for scheduling purposes and we can definitely incorporate that on your website. There are also paid options that provide more functionality and you may decide this route is the better option depending on your needs. For example, if you'd like to collect a deposit, ask screening questions upon scheduling, or if you simply would like to brand this process with your own branding, you may decide a paid scheduling tool is the way to go.

The package price of $970 offered here includes, copy-writing, domain registration, website hosting (up to 1 year), and website building/design for a 5-page website. Additionally, a professional email that matches your domain is included (up to 1 year) if you choose the suggested platform (Squarespace). Anything beyond this is subject to additional fees. I will tell you in advance if something is going to cost more and if there are any alternative options available. I typically charge for additional services by the hour. My hourly fee ranges from $35 to $50 depending on the service type. My goal is to help you accomplish your goals at the most affordable price. I'm good at problem-solving and you can trust that I will have your best interest at heart with anything that I recommend.

What might warrant an additional fee?

• For example, if you need a logo for your website this may incur an additional fee. If you'd like me to design a logo for you, you'll be charged my graphic design rate ($250 for logos or $40/hour.)

• Maybe you need additional space beyond the standard storage space for your website because you have lots of videos. This may incur an additional charge. Or, maybe you want more capabilities for selling products such as keeping customers on your site rather than sending them to Stripe or PayPal to checkout. This may incur extra charges. Maybe you need more than 5 pages for your website? Anything beyond the package offering may result in higher charges.

• If you'd like to incorporate a live streaming feature for your website where you can do live training webinars, I may suggest a third-party app that can streamline this process. The app may charge a monthly fee.

• Some platforms, like Weebly, don't have full-featured form capabilities where customers can fill out a form on your website. If you'd like to incorporate this, then you may need to pay an additional fee. By the way, Squarespace has amazing form filling capabilities that are free.

• Do you need help creating an email newsletter system to keep in touch with your clients and prospects? I can help with that! This would be beyond the scope of web design, and these services are subject to my marketing consulting/freelancing rate (~$35/hour).
