EUCHARISTIC MINISTER

LECTOR
A Lector is a Confirmed Catholic that offers their time to Proclaim the Word of God at Mass. Training is given to learn how to proclaim the sacred words. If you are interested in this Ministry at our parish please contact Mary Kay Davis.
ALTAR SERVERS
A Altar Server is a lay assistant to the clergy during a Christian Liturgy. Within the Diocese of Youngstown, these lay assistants can be men, women, boys, or girls who have already received Holy Communion for the first time. If you are interested in this Ministry please Contact Mary Kay Davis.
GREETERS
Greeters welcome parishioners and guests coming to St. James for Mass. Greeters are responsible for greeting our guests and giving them a bulletin
PRESENTATION OF THE GIFTS
People who volunteer for this ministry will present to the Priest the gifts (Ie. the money, bread, and wine) offered up during the Mass. If you would like to volunteer for this ministry please contact Mary Kay Davis.
PASTORAL CARE
Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist delivers Holy Communion to the homebound. If you know of someone who is homebound, and would like to receive communion or if you are interested in taking Holy Communion to the homebound please contact Mickie Richards or the office. Additionally, if you are going into the hospital or having surgery and would like to have the parish notified please contact the office at 330-866-9449.
BEREAVEMENT MINSTRY
In the e vent of death, the Funeral Home will contact Deacon Dave Kenney or the office to set up a time with the family to plan a Mass or for a Funeral Home Service and music. ( if a Mass is to be said). If the family would like a luncheon following the funeral; the coordinator will work with the family to arrange a meal at St. James hall. Volunteers will set up, serve, clean up, and package left over food for family to take home. To volunteer, contact the parish office at 330-866-9449
CRAFT LADIES AND BEEREAVEMENT LUNCHEON TEAM
These ladies meet when needed to make various crafts and candies to sell at Parish dinners and other parish functions. Their profits help defray the cost of various Parish needs. They meet every Tuesday at 9:00AM in the All Saints Room. ALL ARE WELCOME. NO CRAFTING ABILITY IS NECESSARY.
MUSIC MINISTRY
St. James choir celebrates Mass through our singin prayer' each Sunday at 11:00am. Choir practice is held at 10:00am on Sunday before Mass as needed. We are always looking for new members to sing, laugh, and even party with us. Please call the church office if interested and leave a message for Cassie Grossi.
