As a member of the Young Government Leaders (YGL), we know that you strive to improve yourself and are serious about having a successful and rewarding career. The Federal Managers Association (FMA) wants to help you along your career path and to offer you the services we have offered managers, supervisors and executives since our founding in 1913. We want to offer you an associate membership in FMA, regardless of your current position in government.

FMA advocates excellence in public service through effective management and professionalism, as well as the active representation of its members’ interests and concerns. FMA advances its mission through consultation with the Executive Branch and advocacy in Congress, professional development programs, informative publications and networking opportunities for its members. As an FMA member, you will receive the Washington Report, our monthly e-newsletter reporting on important issues, including the work of FMA. You'll also receive the monthly Grassroots Update, providing you easy access to the latest action letters we have written to help inform Congress of what is important to feds. You'll also receive the quarterly e-magazine, The Federal Manager. We hear from government and management leaders, and would welcome your input on future articles for our magazine.
