The Math Honor Society is for Junior and Seniors. The Math Honor Society will be the Yorktown chapter that is tied to Mu Alpha Theta which is the National High School and Two-Year College Mathematics Honor Society. It's dedicated to inspiring a keen interest in mathematics, developing strong scholarship in the subject, and promoting the enjoyment of mathematics in high school and two-year college students. As a group we will meet to discuss opportunities for the math students to participate in math-related events and interact with each other.
