Leadership Opportunities

Other possible ideas:

• Anti-Bullying Task Force - Create a student-led task force to tackle bullying and promote respect within the school.  Students would be especially helpful with online support.

• YHS Leadership Podcast - Create a YHS specific podcast that interviews school-based programs

• Positive Social Media Campaign - Run a social media campaign that spreads positive messages, showcases student achievements, and highlights kindness, empathy, and leadership. 

• Service Learning Projects - identify a community issue, research solutions, and implement a project

• Pay it Forward Campaign - Start a "Pay It Forward" initiative where students perform acts of kindness for others and encourage recipients to do the same. Track the acts of kindness with a wall of stories or through a social media campaign.

• Compliment Train - a simple, yet powerful, project where students pass along compliments to create a chain of positivity, each time someone receives a compliment, they are encouraged to send 3 more.  Compliments are reviewed by leadership before delivery.
