The Leadership Academy represents the pinnacle of student governance and organizational excellence at Yorktown High School. This program is the cornerstone of our commitment to leadership development, designed exclusively for all recognized student leaders.

Participants in the Academy engage with an advanced curriculum focused on strategic planning, effective governance, and the mastery of organizational logistics. This is a transformative opportunity to internalize the critical skills and sophisticated strategies required to lead with impact and integrity. The goal is to provide student officers with the acumen necessary for seamless and successful club management.

As a measure of their commitment to accountability and the enduring success of the student body, attendance is expressly expected of all club leaders. The successful completion of this program is fundamental to the continuity and professional caliber of all student activities.  Students will be recognized for their participation with a cord at graduation.  Students must attend 75% of the meetings to earn their cord.
