In accordance with a new state law, the District has posted its external audit to its website.  We are quite proud of the result of this audit as it demonstrates the sounds fiscal practices and policies that the District has employed.  This audit highlights the extraordinary work of our Board of Education, Administration, and Business Department in managing the financial position of the District while providing for the programs necessary to ensure our students have access to a well-rounded education.  All school districts in New York State undergo an external audit each year, as required by state law, to ensure appropriate fiscal management of taxpayer of monies.  We have been extremely pleased with the results of our audits year after year.

We have posted the NYS Comptroller's audit to our website for your review.  Once again, our results reflected responsible fiscal management of taxpayer monies.  While there are some inaccuracies in the report, we certainly welcome the Comptroller's suggestions of maintaining written documentation to support purchases and amending policies to better align with our purchasing practices.
