How does the booking in process work?

Due to the nature of our work, which can be very noisy at times, we may not answer your call or email immediately. However please leave your name, a short message detailing your query and contact details and we will aim to get back to you as soon as we possibly can, as we frequently check for messages throughout the day.

From there we would invite you into our workshop for a consult, talking you through the job and agree an initial estimated price and the earliest date possible for booking in.

Smaller jobs - Should the job be a smaller one (1-3 days in duration), settlement would be on receipt of invoice. 

Larger jobs - Should the job be a larger one, such as a restoration, then payment will be managed differently. We would take an initial draw down against the job, with further payments agreed with you at key stages through the project. You would receive an invoiced receipt for each payment, but before making each payment we would invite you into our workshop to see the work to date and/or send you photos of the process. The final payment would be settled on receipt of the final invoice. Should your circumstances change then there is the option of halting the project, settling up for work done to date and returning to us when your circumstances allow, as we understand that large jobs such as these can be costly.

For all of our jobs, should we find work required that was not on the original estimate because it was not visible until we cut body panels away for example, then we will always contact you to talk you through next steps. No extra work will ever be completed without your prior authorisation. Our aim is to make you as comfortable as we can that your pride and joy is in the right hands and that you are kept abreast of things all along the journey with us here at YAP Ltd.
