Ideas taken from....
- TWEET - Find a famous Francophile (artist, musician, athlete, politician, etc.) on Twitter. Read and respond in French to several of their Tweets. Include screenshots in your home practice log.
- COMMENT - Find a Francophone blog or social media site. Read a couple of the most recent posts. Comment on one in a way that demonstrates that you understand the main idea. Also express your own opinion on the matter. Include a link to the site and screenshots of your comments in your home practice log.
- PASSION EMAIL - Find a school, business, or organization that relates to something that you are passionate about. Write them an e-mail (or a draft in your notebook) asking multiple questions to help you better understand the topic and/or their organization. Remember to use appropriate greetings and closings!
- Label 20 things in your classroom, bedroom, or other room in your house with their names and what you do with/in them in French. Take a picture of your labels or record yourself giving a tour of the room or house.
- ACROSTIC POEM - Write an acrostic poem about yourself in French using your first and last name.
- DAILY ACTIVITY VIDEO - Take 10 pictures of yourself doing typical activities throughout the day and record yourself explaining what you're doing in each picture on a video or VoiceThread.
- INFOGRAPHIC - Create an infographic to give information about something you are passionate about using visuals and French words and phrases.
- MAKE NOTES - Create a graphic organizer in French about a topic you are studying or have studied in another class. Include at least three headings and at least two subheadings each.
- SCRAPBOOK - Create a scrapbook (online or paper) with at least 10 pictures from a significant event in your life. Caption each picture in French.
