Upstander Fortune Cookies

Inside every fortune cookie is a message about the future or a word of advice. Imagine that you are an Upstander, and that you are baking a special batch of fortune cookies for targets, bystanders, and cyberbullies.

To a cyberbully:

• Be nice - Be good - Be great
• Don’t push others down to push yourself up
• Stop being mean to people…Let it out not on someone else
• Cyberbullying is a bad thing, treat others the way you want to be treated!

To a target (of a cyberbully):

• Don’t think what the cyberbully sent, think what you really are.

To a bystander:

• Don’t stand by, stand up! The target needs your help!
