Built in 537 as a Byzantine cathedral under Emperor Justinian I, it was the largest church of its time. After the Ottoman conquest in 1453, it was converted into a mosque. In 1935, it became a museum under Atatürk’s secular reforms. However, in 2020, it was reconverted into a mosque, sparking international debate.

Title: Auguste: An AI kitchen story
Description: Over the Easter break I have been trying to create a proof of concept LLM cooking assistant, Auguste, a wholesome french AI chef with access to cooking books and techniques that can help with new ideas in the kitchen.
Currently still in development, a RAG model built on Mistral-7B (a french AI model) is already up and running, and a fine-tuned model is still in the works, hopefully to be ready before the symposium.
In the presentation, along with all the fun will be presented the pains of setting up the pre-processing pipelines for unstructured data, and providing some layman knowledge about how LLMs (such as ChatGPT) handle information under the hood in order to bring us their answers (in this case the french touch in Haute Cuisine)!

Title: GNSS Tolling system for India
Description: As of March 2025, India is the world's most populous country with an estimated population of around 1.46 billion, representing approximately 17.8% of the global population. Industry, innovation and infrastructure are key to continued growth and prosperity. This report focuses on solutions to meet the need to fund the development of a robust road network and facilitate the continued growth in major cities and surrounding residential areas. We are proposing the use of OBU’s combined with a marketing app to manage distance based tolling. The solution proposed will benefit both the consumer and government; with equitable pricing models and the ability to manage a more efficient transport infrastructure via enhanced data insights.

Title: Reducing the Harms of Menstrual Products
Description: The presentation begins by focusing on the current harms that come with using menstrual products, specifically tampons, and how we aim to reduce their usage because of this. We demonstrate the most efficient way to lessen usage by placing our long list of policy solutions through various forms of analysis, assessing risk factors and the costs of implementation. Through this we concluded that providing financial incentives for safe and sustainable products would be the most efficient solution and we talk through how this could be implemented and how this will meet our initial aims.
