English and History student Suzannah undertook a 4-week Historical Research Assistant internship with the Rowntree Society.  Have a look at what she had to say about the experience.

Theatre, Film, Television and Interactive Media student Yi Rou spent four weeks working with Avorium, a sustainable stationary and desk accessories company, to develop their website.

Biology student Navin undertook an on-campus project and spent four weeks working within the Careers and Placements team, interviewing University of York alumni from a Widening Participation (WP) background as part of a new Psychology module.

Electronic Engineering student Sam undertook a 12 week full-time internship with Robotas Technologies Ltd in summer 2023.  Sam also got accepted onto a Year in Industry with the same company once the internship had ended.

Social Policy and Social Work student Jamie worked with the charity Family Fund for six weeks over summer. His role was focused around eligibility for grants and funding.

Politics student Nur spent 8 weeks working as a Housing Engagement Assistant at City of York Council, identifying gaps in tenant engagement across Housing Services. 

Medieval Studies student Katie spent 4 weeks working as a Research Assistant for SoundStageNorth. She researched a specific time period in York for a historical podcast.

English student Alanah spent 8 weeks working remotely for Myles Wellbeing. Her main focus was establishing charity partnerships.
