The majority of the conference will be held in the Ron Cooke Hub on Campus East. Accessibility information for the venue can be found here. It has a level-access entrance which is wide enough for wheelchairs. Talks and keynotes will be held in the RCH/037 lecture hall (info here). Breaks, lunches and poster sessions will be held in the Ron Cooke Hub atrium (pictured below). This is a level-access ground floor open space.
All talks will be captioned, provided by our captioning partner Speechmatics.
There are multiple accessible toilets in the building. There are additionally two Changing Places Toilets on campus. The nearest to the Ron Cooke Hub is located in York Sport Village, an additional toilet is located in the Church Lane Building.
Various Pay and Display car parks with disabled bays are available near the conference venue. You can view them on Google maps here.
We will provide a quiet space in the conference venue for those who need it - this will be listed in the conference programme.
Our conference dinner will be held at York Racecourse; accessible transport will be provided to and from the Ron Cooke Hub to York Racecourse. Accessibility information for the racecourse can be found here.
