Welcome to the 26th UK Workshop on Computational Intelligence
Welcome to the 26th UK Workshop on Computational Intelligence
Home
The workshop bridges the gap between foundational computational intelligence theory and real-world engineering applications. Key research areas consistently featured include: Core Computational Intelligence Paradigms & Hybrid Architectures, Trustworthy, Safe, & Explainable Computational Intelligence and Applied Computational Intelligence & Industrial Impact.
The Workshop accepts Full Papers (typically up to 8 pages) for fully developed methodologies, as well as Short/Position Papers (around 4 pages) designed for early-stage results or work-in-progress. Also encouraged are Industrial Case Studies & Demos (2 page extended Abstracts).
Accepted full papers will be published by Springer in their Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing (AISC) series, ensuring high academic visibility and indexing.
The UK Workshop on Computational Intelligence (UKCI) is a long-running, forum for researchers, academics, and industry practitioners working across the spectrum of artificial intelligence and smart computing.
Established at the University of Edinburgh in 2001, the event has taken place every year (with a brief pause in 2020) and rotates through different host universities across the UK. It serves as an accessible but rigorous space for both seasoned researchers and PhD students to share breakthroughs. The 2027 edition will be held in the beautiful and historic city of York.
