Marianna Cortesi is a pianist, researcher, and educator based in York and an Associate Lecturer at the School of Arts and Creative Technologies (Music), University of York. She holds a PhD in Music Education, with research on the constructions and perceptions of competition in Higher Education music institutions, and has performed widely as a soloist and ensemble musician, including with the University of York Chamber Orchestra.
Federico Pendenza is a classical and electric guitarist, researcher, and educator based in York and an Associate Lecturer at the School of Arts and Creative Technologies (Music), University of York. He holds a PhD in Music Education, with research focusing on Alexander Technique in higher music education, and has performed widely as a soloist and in ensembles across Italy, Sweden, and the UK.
