See the map below for the location of the lecture hall.
Our spring school will take place on the west campus of the University of York, in pleasant green surroundings. Lectures take place in Vanbrugh College, just across the lake from the Department of Mathematics.
The Department of Mathematics at the University of York was founded in 1963. It has grown to become a prominent centre for mathematical research and education, offering a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
Within the department, the mathematical physics group is a hub for quantum field theory research, with strong expertise in algebraic quantum field theory, QFT in curved spacetimes and integrable models.
Campus West can easily be reached from the city centre of York, either on foot (roughly a 40 minute walk) or by bus (line U1 or U2).
